Project IV: Space & Complementary, Scale & Porportion
My idea is to used everyday objects (a jar, some paper, glue & etc) to create the ocean in a jar, or to use creatures or ideas associated with the ocean to create a night light jar for my niece. She loves the ocean, and she loves the stories about mermaids and pirates, but she doesn't enjoy dark very much. I hope she'll appreciate the gift.
Project III: Texture & Colorscheme, Complement of Principle of Balanace
I wanted to create a fantasy wooden nymph and flowers to symbolize rebirth in nature. Women are often associated with purity and mother nature.
Project II: Shape & Pattern
I love the idea of the seasonal changes of the year and how butterflies are something nice to see on those clear days. Especially in Texas where the seasons seem to change all within one day.
Project I: Intention
The intention of my first "Line, Rhythm, Directional" piece I have to decided to use 3 directional forces in order to draw the audiences' attention to the ripples water can create out to the sides, how hair becomes like liquid ink and flow upward, and lines dripping off the woman in order to draw their eyes down and be reminiscent of sound when played on a media player to show the differences of sound heard in water and on land.
